As an Outside Sales Representative in StorageHawk's Sales function, you are responsible for re-selling Partner Products & Professional Services, as well as maintaining positive on-going relationships to meet evolving customer needs. Your overall focus areas will be in capturing sales opportunities, developing proposals for presentation to customers, and re-selling Partner Products and Services. StorageHawk's Marketing & Systems Engineering functions provide support and tools for you to help you attain and exceed sales performance goals.
Requirements:
- Strong verbal & written communications skills, including presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other StorageHawk employees.
- Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
- Ability to convey information clearly and provide analysis as needed to help customers make buying decisions.
Responsibility:
- As a seasoned, experienced professional, with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures, this individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical ways.
- Is responsible for a specific geographical base.
- May have own account responsibility and/or work on a team.
Interaction:
- This individual effectively works with other internal personnel, employees in other functions that support the sales effort, and has direct customer contact.
- Little management direction is provided on day to day work; general instructions are given on new assignments; as well as review of activities and priorities.
- Contributes proactively to sales team efforts and positively influences decisions.
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience is preferred.
- A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or related field is required.
- Experience which demonstrates expertise in technical specifications required to re-sell StorageHawk partner products and services.
Functions:
- Work directly with customers to capture new sales opportunities.
- Schedule and attend sales call appointments with customers. Other StorageHawk sales team members may also participate in the sales call to help qualify the opportunity.
- Discuss business issues with customer; develop formal quotes, written sales proposals, or formal sales presentations addressing their business needs.
- Provide status information to your Manager including forecast/pipeline information.
- Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
- Ability to convey information clearly and provide analysis as needed to help customer make buying decisions.
